No. We have about 75% of people who buy the Hotbin just either sitting it on the ground or putting it up on blocks etc. The only reason for the Plinth or raising it on blocks is to get easy access to the Blue Liquid nossle at the base but it is still easy enough to open even when sitting flush to the ground
