Can the compost get too hot in the composter. How do you avoid that.

I have never come across it getting too hot. It can comfortably get up to 65 degrees with no issue but if it did get above this you can open the lid for an hour or so or longer term there is a vent in the lid that you just leave open to allow the temperature drop
