The Joraform actually should have some small gaps between the internal insulation when assembled. This is to allow the Insulation to expand slightly with the heat produced by the compost. In the past there were no gaps and it lead to the insulation buckling so this is actually an improvement. It does mean that there is a small amount of leakage in the first few weeks until the gaps have filled in when you get heat in to the unit.
