Should I place metal vegitub directly on clay ground or stone?

I am clearing away an area for my metal vegitubs and stoning it so I'm just wondering can I stone all the area & place tge vegitub on the stone or place the vegitub on the clay & stone around it?

To be honest it can go directly on the stone or the ground. Some people will place the Vegtub first and then put down their stone but this could lead to the Tub getting scratched or damaged. I would stone the whole area and then put down the Tub. It will be good for the drainage in the tub anyway
