If the bag freezes fully through the micro-organisms in it die but to be honest this is only in very extreme conditions like minus 15 degrees which we have not had in a few years. So i wouldn't worry about it
why does it say on the bag not to let it freeze? i stored mine outside and now i'm worried i have to throw it out. New Horizon Peat Free Vegetable Compost 50L Compost Bags
