Hi Seamus. It is of course. Any uncooked or cooked food can go in including raw food and chicken fish bones etc. So in short. Yes it is fine
Is it ok to add uncooked meat to the Joraform composter JK270 (say the uncooked cut-off fat of a ham) Joraform Composter JK270 'Big Pig' Fully Assembled Rapid Hot Composters
My opinion is that it should be ok as the high temperatures in the bin will break down the uncooked fat.
