Vegepod Medium Raised Bed Complete with Cover
Hi
I am looking to buy a medium sized raised bed for our patio mainly for salad crops outside the door. The last one we had was an "eglo" and it was v good but the plastic cover that went on it comes off easily and during both storms the catch came off and bleow away and cracked. We had to replace it twice. We now see this one which is self watering, is the cover good to stay on? the fact that is has detachable stand makes me question would that blow off in a storm? Perhaps a wooden one is more durable with a fleece cover? Advice always appreciated!

So your question is very valid in the increasingly strong storms. The best one in my opinion for strength and durability is the Vegtrug with the Wooden Cold frame. Available in 1m and 1.8m versions. We have customers with these for years and they seem to have made it through numerous storms
