When to expect squash?
Squash 'Delicata' Seeds
Hello, I cannot remember exactly when I planted out this variety of squash, it was possibly in June.
No fruits had been appearing (or, a few appeared but dropped off quickly) so I stopped giving it any attention. However, I've noticed some healthy fruits have finally appeared (early September).
My question is - what is the likelihood of getting mature squash at this stage. The plant is outdoors in Cork, getting a good enough amount of sunshine for now.
Should I leave the plant in the ground, or remove it to start getting the ground prepped for winter?

HI Squash delicata needs roughly 3 months to mature after planting out so i would leave for September as temperature are still warm and hopefully you will have a decent crop.
