What about rats. I had a small hit in but rats bored holes in it and got in

Hi there, thank you for your question. When the Hotbin is composting at the temperatures it was designed to work at, there should be no odour and therefore shouldn't attract rats. It is very rare for us to hear about rodent problems but I agree, they can be an issue on rare occasions.
