Feed now or Spring Greenhouse & Polytunnel Soil Mix - 750L Bulk Bag

Hi I need to feed my Polytunnel as it cropped poorly this year in spite of using liquid feed. Would I feed now or wait till Spring. I have a long term asparagus bed , some leeks , kale and salad for over winter but some beds I Will leave empty till the Spring ? I have a couple of your raised beds so that is the size and would 1 750l bag do each bed? bed

Hi there, thank you for your question. Firstly, I would advise using a liquid feed as a top up only if required. For the long term health of your polytunnel I would recommend feeding the soil rather than the plant directly. I would recommend a bulk bag of Envirogrind soil improver rather than the greenhouse and polytunnel soil mix (unless you are filling new beds or need to top up beds significantly). I would add at least 5cm to the surface of all beds, including those that are in use. Can you let me know the size and number of our raised bed that you have and I can advise on amount that you need.
