Hi there, thank you for your question. Envirogrind can be added in autumn or spring but will be most beneficial if added in autumn and covered to protect from heavy rain. In general you shouldn't need any additional feed provided you add sufficient envirogrind compost (approx 5cm depth) but for demanding plants like tomatoes, you may need to use a liquid tomato feed if leaves are showing any signs of deficiency.
