Would this be good for clearing undergrowth and weeds from around base of hedge?

The wild hedges I planted get swamped by weeds and grass and it's risky using a petrol strimmer. Would this be good for beating back tall grass and weeds growing at base of hedgelines? Too many hedges to use mulch.

Hi there, thank you for your question. I think you would need to be careful with the grass slasher around the base of a hedge to make sure you avoid hitting the hedge stems. Having said that, you would do a lot less damage than a strimmer. Yes, it would work but used with caution.
