Hi there, thank you for your question. A hotbin should be a fast and effective composting system if the balance of ingredients are right. If you are having issues, I don't think that compost renew will solve the problem. I would be more inclined to experiment with your mix of carbon and nitrogen rich ingredients (brown and green waste) to get your hotbin up to temperature. If you are not having issues and just want to add some beneficial bacteria to your hotbin compost then compost renew will be suitable. I hope this helps.
