Hi there, thank you for your question. The Baccara timer is permanently connected to the valve, you could open the timer and remove the connecting wire but this is not something that we recommend. The timer body sits on the valve via a connecting pole but it is not screwed on, this means the timer can be swivelled for viewing or taken off for easy setting though you are governed by the connecting wire which is approx 15cm long.
