Hi there, thank you for your question. The metal raised garden planter doesn't have drainage holes drilled in the base but it isn't watertight around the edges so excess moisture can escape. The kit also comes with a semi permeable soil liner as standard which prevents soil or compost particles leaking out around the edges of the planter.
