Hi there, thank you for your question. Bone meal is not for animal consumption and can be dangerous if ingested in large quantities so tubs or packs should always be stored out of reach of pets. As regards product spread on the garden, this is very unlikely to cause an issue if raked into the soil but if you want to be 100% sure it may be better to use an alternative product.
