Hi there, thank you for your question. Our timber is treated with the up to date version of Tanalith E which is a copper based fungicide similar to that used in treating potato blight. Timber treated with Tanalith E is certified safe for use with food crops once it has had sufficient time to dry on the timber before use. Our timber is is dried for a 6-8 weeks before sending out.
