Hi there. thank you for your question. A tayberry plant has a similar habit tom a bramble so grows long, trailing stems that need to be supported with wire. Like a bramble, the fruiting stems die back after they have produced fruit and are replaced with new ones. For this reason it is not really suitable for a hedge.
