Will this sound upset a dog as well as a fox?

I have a dog which barks constantly at night because of the foxes running across the high walls at back of rear garden, sometimes all night. Just don’t want to buy a device that might distress him even further even if it does deter the foxes. thanks in advance

Hi there, thank you for your question. Your dog will be able to hear the sound emitted by the foxwatch unit but, while your pet may bark for the first few times it is used, most dogs get used to it quickly and view it as just another household noise. A fox, as a wild animal, will be more wary of odd noises and is deterred by the sound. The foxwatch does not emit a frequency that is very loud or damaging to fox or dog ears, it is just designed to make a wild fox edgy so it will seek a less threatening area to find food.
