Hi there. Thank you for your question. While micromesh isn't quick to unravel, the mesh is made of individual strands so it will result in a frayed edge over tiime. I have found the easiest method is to create a hem by folding the edge of the cut piece a couple of times and stapling along it with a stapler. The ideal of course is to buy micromesh as close to the size required as you can and not cut it because it comes with a heat sealed edge and will last for years.
