Hi there
I will need to contact the manufacturer on this one as it doesn't say on the packaging if dogs can also hear the ultrasonic sound. Dogs can hear as high as 40,000 hertz while cats can hear up to 64,000 hertz so I assume that the Catfree until is set at a higher range to exclude dogs but this is only an assumption on my part. I will add the manufacturers comments to this thread when they get back to me.

Very occasionally we hear that smaller dogs can hear Catwatch, but it is quite unusual. Most dog owners don’t have a problem with cats, as the dog is usually a big enough deterrent! Some dog owners turn off Catwatch when the dog is in the garden
