I guess you could use a Living Green bag for growing tomatoes as you suggest. The compost itself will be very good but I would be concerned to bag may not been deep enough when laid flat (growbags tend to be a deeper, narrower bag). You could get around this by stapling the edge of the bag to make it narrower and therefore deeper. I hope this helps. Andrew
